Year-round garlic flavor without all the fuss...what's not to love? Garlic chives are a beautiful, simple to grow plant that will give you garlic flavor all year long.
Why We Love It
Here are some of the reasons why we love Garlic Chives...
1) DELICIOUS - Simply cut the greens and chop up and use in your favorite dishes for a light oniony/garlic flavor.
2) BEAUTIFUL- Like many alliums, garlic chives make a beautiful flower head that attracts beneficial insects to your garden.
3) DETER PESTS - Garlic chives are thought to deter pests such as Japanese beetles, black spot on roses, scab on apples, and mildew on cucurbits, so plant them with your roses, apples, zucchini, pumpkins, and cucumbers.
